En route to Addis Ababa (አዲስ አበባ)




What Addis had to offer me:
Addis Ababa has the status of both a city and a state. It is where the Africa Union and its predecessor the OAU are based. It also hosts the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and numerous other continental and international organizations. (enough with the history)
Lets get down to business ooh i mean what Addis had to offer me,  arrived in Addis at around 10 am , dropping the suitcase at the rental Apartments heading out to explore Addis, full of excitement ,culture shock, high expectations mixed feelings + adrenaline rush with all of this i was ready to concur Ethiopia. first stop try out some Ethiopian cuisine,injera, consists of vegetable and often very spicy meat dishes, usually in the form of wat (also w'et or wot), a thick stew, served atop injera, a large sourdough flatbread.

Was it tasty ? huh! you need to try it to first then let me know :) 
To some of you, this may not look very appetizing. But I assure you, if you like spices and rich flavors, this is right up your alley. 
So me and my friends enjoyed this, now to enjoy the city, random walks getting lost, beautiful people and places, ooh my Day 1 was over.

The as we toured Addis we found this university show casing different cultures it was a cultural day organised by the students as a welcoming strategy to welcome international students to their university. As usual we joined in the show case to represent Kenya.

So i like adventure and adventures love me, we were heading to the central past of Kenya exactly to Sagana River for BUNGEE JUMPING. We got there photo moments first thing as usual, then the guide gave us instructions the DO'S and DONT'S and safety measures and the price lists. We are ready  for the jump HAKUNA MATATA.
